MFI had it’s foundation established in Indonesia, providing logistical services to many MNC and local companies shipping their goods into and out of Indonesia. Due to the complexity of customs regulation, clearance processes could be lengthy resulting in higher warehouse and container charges. This resulted in the management looking for a more efficient way to help reduce these costs for our clients. This resulted in the establishment of Mitra Famosa (MFI) and Singapore was chosen as our Global hub center because of Singapore’s extensive connectivity and it’s closeness to Indonesia.
